Some of the things we think should be added are more customization, creative ways to use blood, and a “hardcore” mode.
Horror fans are having a great time with The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. You can now play through situations that will make you think of your favorite scary movies. This is something that many people could only dream of.
The game is good, but it’s still very new, so there is a lot of room for it to get better. If you play a game online, it will change and adapt to problems. The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is already good, but there are a few things that could make it great.
Given the source material, it seems fair to say that the Texas Chain Saw Massacre series is pretty dark. For a small change to final escapes, the developers should look to the movies for ideas. The movies are darker and more shocking.
There are some bold escapes that players can do, but the formula could be changed so that killers could move into the escape area and stay hidden. This would allow for a fakeout escape in which the escapee is killed at the last second.
A Custom Victim
Even though this is a small change, it will make a big difference. You might be able to choose which skill trees are already leveled up for your own unique character, so you wouldn’t even need a new skill tree for this.
There are already some changes to how the figures look, but being able to make your own survivor would really make the experience more real. It might be shocking to die horribly in-game, but it would make the game even scarier.
Random Distractions For The Family
From time to time, it can feel like some skilled players are way ahead of the Family. A lot of people may not mind that if they play the game for a long time, but fake sound effects could help level the playing field quickly.
There are fakeout scares in old horror movies involving animals, so what’s to say that a rat couldn’t randomly knock something over to make a noise? This could also have an effect on Victims by frightening people who are afraid of rats.
The Ability For Help To Arrive
It might sound like this would make the game less scary, but it could make it scarier in a whole new way. Victims who get away should be able to go back to their old jobs as unarmed police officers investigating the area or as regular people in the area with weak weapons.
With this small change, a weak survivor who has no chance of getting away might be able to do so, since the point of these assigned characters is to add to the body count so that the last girl or guy can get away. This would be great as long as these figures were really weak and couldn’t help with anything.
A Cinema Mode
In no way am I criticizing the way the game looks; in fact, I think it looks great. This is just an idea for a game that would let players watch their matches again in a more cinematic way to learn from what other players did and get better.
This would be a simple way for new players to see how other people play while also giving the scary experience a new twist. Some smart gamers might even come up with clever ways to use the mode in this way.
Backrooms Game already feels like a movie, so adding some even more exciting parts would make it even better. If you make a map with a big enclosed area inside another contained area, it could be dangerous if a killer walks in.
Cutscenes could take place in a certain area with only one entrance and exit. This way, both the Victims and the Family would know that a much more intense game had started. If players were given the right rewards, they might not camp, which would make the game even scarier.
A Hardcore Mode
It might work best if a few smaller maps were added to this mode, but it could go even further in making the experience scary. Taking away all big glows except for Grandpa’s, making kills with one hit, and being able to knock out the Family could make for a great hardcore mode.
These settings instantly turn off the HUD, so this mode is best for people who want a real challenge. Not as many people would want to play, but it might be fun to keep things interesting after everyone has learned the base game.
Make Blood Trails A Useful Tool
It’s a bit of a wonder that blood doesn’t play an even bigger role in the Texas Chain Saw Massacre series than it already does. Blood in games can be both a bad thing and a great thing, based on the player.
Your character should leave a blood trail if they get hit, but you should also be able to choose to hurt yourself to make a fake blood trail for someone to follow. This would change the game in a new way, giving the Victims new ways to stay alive.
Victim Sanity Levels
If the normal person were put in the same situation as the Victims in the game, some people might start to emotionally hurt very badly. Reason enough for some kind of mental meter to be very helpful.
It’s possible for the meter to go up the longer you stay in scary places and the more you see the Family. This could lead to problems like throwing up, worrying without meaning to, or even hallucination attacks, all of which make a lot of noise.
A Map Builder Mode
A detailed plan maker would be one of the best additions to this kind of game. It would be a lot of fun to let players make their own scary places for people to escape from with easy themes, so the developers wouldn’t have to spend as much time making maps.
As long as there are strict rules about what makes a map finished, knowing that you can switch between pre-made maps and unique maps at any time will keep the game interesting. You can also make your own tasks that the people who made the game might not have thought of.
